Hospital Visits Bring Smiles!

Dogs On Call teams visit all Madison area hospitals and brighten the day of patients, visitors, and staff. The dogs get constant attention and petting as people share their own animal stories and get a little distraction from their daily routine. Teams often hear, “You made my day!”

Wisconsin Pet Partners Jan and Ryder and retired cairn terrier Griffin

Jan is a long-time DOC member with now-retired Pet Partner Griffin, a 14-year-old West Highland White Terrier, and current Pet Partner Ryder, a 10-year-old Cairn Terrier. Jan and Ryder visit at Gilda’s Club, Meriter and Sauk Prairie Hospitals, attend various community events, and are a R.E.A.D. team.
