Three Dogs On Call handlers and their adopted dogs (Briana & Gerry, Jen & Eva, and Karen & Raider) participated in the pledge breaks during Wisconsin Public Television’s (WPT) broadcast of “Shelter Me.” The program highlighted pets from shelters and rescues whose lives have changed and changed the lives of their rescuers. During the breaks, animal behaviorist Patricia McConnell talked with the DOC handlers about how their dogs were adopted and what activities they do with DOC. Liz, another DOC representative, was there, too, to tell a little about the Dogs On Call organization. It was a fun event and a successful night of fundraising for WPT!
